Missing Sites

If you’ve been aware of dombillijah.com, rosiesamfrodo.com & oscillating.net for a while, you might be wondering why there are fewer sites hosted on them now than there used to be.

This is because the domains were originally hosted with a provider called “host4students” which went bust a year or two ago. Much of the material was able to be backed up, but unfortunately some of the material from the dynamic sites (eg. run with Automated Archive) was unable to be transferred.

In addition, shortly before they shut down, host4students deleted all material at dombillijah.com, their reason being that it had been reported that spam email had originated from an @dombillijah.com email address. Unfortunately, before that conflict was able to be resolved, the entire operation shut down and most of the dombillijah.com data was lost.

Hostees were invited to re-upload their website to the new host, but alas, some had already dropped away from fandom and were unable to be contacted, or did not wish to maintain a website any longer.
